This class is excellent for the person with no experience, those with experience looking to refine their technique and people who haven't bellydanced in a while who are looking to come back and get a refresher in the dance form. Learn or review all of the most basic and essential movements of Egyptian style bellydance.

Learn about yourself through beautiful body movements. Bellydance is a great form of exercise, it increases self-esteem, develops full body awareness and is TONS of FUN!! ;)


Bellyrobics is a class designed to increase your heart rate and keep it pumping for 50 non-stop minutes! Bellydance is a great workout for your entire body, and when put into a fitness class form, you'll really work up a sweat! Major muscle groups that get used in bellydance are the core muscles, and your adductors (inner thighs) to move our hips in a number of ways. Arms also get an excellent toning workout especially when using the veil. With various movements you'll also find that you use some back muscles as well.

Class will actually run 60 minutes, with the first 10 minutes dedicated to "workshoping" new moves in the first few weeks to ensure you get them, and as the session moves on, the class will run for the full hour non-stop.

**For bellyrobics please bring an aerobic/running shoe or sneakers if you don't have the first two. A limited number of Hip scarves & Veils will be provided, but if you have your own, feel free to bring it. **


This class is a fun, non-stop bellydance class which starts with a dynamic warm-up which includes review of technique and the rest of the hour is filled with dancing to various styles of middle eastern music. If you are looking for a class that doesn't focus on technique then this class is for you. It is bound to challenge you, but keep you laughing and smiling everytime.
